FCC to Impose ‘Net Neutrality’

Rasmussen Reports has recently published a report stating that a mere 21% of Americans want the FCC to regulate the Internet. This, to me, is proof that the various organizations who are pushing ‘net neutrality’ represent people pushing a solution in search of a problem.
Historically the FCC was created to manage radio stations. At the time, this made perfect sense because radio waves are not ‘owned’ by anyone, and if the various radio stations’ broadcasting frequencies are not regulated it would result in chaos, with frequencies overlapping and interfering with one another. In that sense, the broadcast spectrum was truly a public resource, like the atmosphere — no one truly owns it.
The Internet, however, is very different.
